Bakewell offers visitors interesting scenery in all seasons. West Lawn is open all year round and we offer a warm welcome whatever the weather.

Bakewell, the largest market town in the Peak Park is set in a beautiful part of the Peak District only a short distance away from all the main attractions.

A large number of tourists visit beauty spots such as Dovedale, places of interest such as Chatsworth House and the caves at Castleton

More active visitors enjoy walking on the network of footpaths and on the moorland, climbing on the edges of the Dark Peak, sailing on the reservoirs and also cycling, horse riding and gliding.

A short break, or longer holiday, will allow you to explore some of England's most spectacular scenery and in the towns and villages - amongst the prettiest in the country - you will find a warm and genuine welcome wherever you go.
